Internships/Work Experience:
June – September 2012, Yume Martin, Jewellery Designer, Devon
Assisting with the production of Yume’s work for website sales, craft fairs, markets and events. I gained practical jewellery skills, valuable to my own personal work and got an insight into the day to day running of an independent jeweller.
May 2012, Contemporary Craft Festival, Devon
Assisting the Director with admin and marketing duties before the event and volunteered on site helping with the smooth running of the Contemporary Craft Festival 15th – 17th June.

Paid work as Accreditation Manager. Running of staff and accreditation event office, health & safety inductions for visitors, answering queries, questions and using computer data systems. Working alongside sponsors, musicians, traders and caterers helping to ensure a successful, smooth event.
February 2012, DCK Concessions, London
3 days in the design studios for Topshop working alongside the ‘Freedom’@ Topshop designer. I obtained a valuable insight into the design to production process, trend research, assisted with designing and jewellery preparation and attended weekly review meetings.
